Nebbiolo. From the rugged mountain in the north of Piedmont , Ferrando is one of just a couple producers here. This is some ethereal Nebbiolo slate soils and trained on pergolas for maximum sun exposure. Fermentation in stainless steel before racking into a mix of small and large barrels for 30-36 months. Oh so refined and delicate. Could drink now or save for a few years.
